"Son de Marín"
“Son de Marín” revolves around the figure of Manuel Outeda Villanueva, better known as John Balan, the one-man band of Galicia, an illustrious character of the town who, thanks to his tireless imagination and his voice, was able to recreate a multitude of instruments. It is because of this nationally and internationally renowned “showman” that this event is held in the town. A floral offering in his honour marks the beginning of a popular festival in which music, culture and local art are the only protagonists.
