ROCK ARTARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE
The Morgo Petroglyphs are one of the main references of Galician rock art and a key point to learn about the municipal district’s prehistoric past. Carved into granite rock, the so-called “Labyrinths of Mogor” are particularly noteworthy, being a set of engravings unique for their spiral shape. They are located in a natural setting a few metres from Mogor beach, and the whole ensemble is protected and signposted.
In addition, there is the Mogor Rock Art Interpretation Centre, the gateway to discover one of the most important series of petroglyphs in Galicia. It features explanatory panels for those who want to discover the remotest history of Marín and enjoy outdoor art. Enjoy the sea views from its spectacular viewpoint.
