Wow, there are beaches in Marín!
If we are known (or renowned), it is due, in part, to our quiet beaches, with fine sand and crystal-clear waters, boasting a blue flag in a privileged setting. Have you discovered them all?
The emerald "Galifornia"
In the form of a route, we recommend you visit our most precious resource, the coast of Marín and its beaches. Winding from Marín to the south, you can find dreamlike sandy areas and coves. You are spoilt for choice: the cosy Portocelo to go with the family. Mogor, with shade, many petroglyphs and adapted for people with reduced mobility. Aguete, special for the ornithological enclave of the islet of O Chirleu. The one of Los Enamorados (The Lovers), to practice nudism. Loire and its dunes, between the river and the estuary.
We also highlight Playa del Santo, where you can explore (like a real pirate) an islet only accessible at low tide. Here you will find vestiges of an Iron Age settlement and a medieval emsemble dedicated to San Clemente. A few steps away, the small, sheltered cove of A Coviña is ideal for those looking for peace facing the sea. Following our walk, although difficult to access, we reach Ribeiriña, and finally the warm Lapamán, which is shared with Bueu.
