Castro da Subidá (fortified settlement)

Castro da Subidá, which dates between the first and fourth centuries A.D., is one of the most representative fortified settlements in Marín. Today it features an ideal natural setting for walking and historical interpretation, as excavations have made it possible to recover several circular housing structures. In addition, the area has been equipped with information panels, which allows visitors to learn about life in the Iron Age and enjoy a natural setting with privileged views of the Pontevedra estuary.
